We are in Barstow, California (as in: "We were halfway to Barstow when the drugs began to take hold" from the first sentence in Fear&Loathing in Las Vegas). Yesterday we were towed to Vegas from Kingman, Arizona, which was exactly 100 miles (which is the limit for free towing) and today we were towed from Baker to Barstow. Thank the cosmos for AAA.
We saw "Love" last night, which is a Cirque du Soleil performance, at the Mirage Theater. It was the only reason we went to Vegas and it was worth every mile and every penny. Mind-blowing is the only word I can use to describe it. The props, costumes, and acrobatics were all ahead of the times. Me and Eric both felt that it was in a catagory all its own.
