We've Made It !

We are alive and uneaten (no worries Travis) in Humboldt County! We are looking for a home currently, so I will be brief...

I look high, I look low
I’m looking everywhere I go.
Looking for a home in the heart of the country.

I'm gonna leave, I'm gonna go
I’m gonna tell everyone I know
I’m looking for a home in the heart of the country.

Heart of the country, where the holy people grow
Heart of the country, smell the grass in the meadow.

I want a horse, I want a sheep
I wanna give me a good night sleep
Living in a home in the heart of the country.

- Paul McCartney's "Heart of the Country"

Yosemite!!!

We only spent two days in the park driving and seeing the sights. It was jam-packed with tourists from all over the world, but we managed to find some seclusion along the Merced River, where we skinny-dipped and played music until the sun went down. Ducks were playing in the currents beside us as we splashed around and sang songs. The giant white walls of the cliffs were looming above us and the sky was a crystal blue. We know we will return for a more lengthy stay during the off-season when the leaves are autumn hues and the wildlife is unafraid.
